Chris Nelson of Euromni Design agreed to remodel our kitchen and bathrooms. He came by referral and because of his direct and courteous business-like manner we opted for an immediate start. I'd say we were very fortunate in our choice: Chris is a superior craftsman with an eye for detail that was especially helpful to my husband and me - we always seemed to be busy and away from home. We relied on Chris for ideas and suggestions and never doubted his honesty and expertise. Chris' work ethic is impeccable - always on the job as arranged and prompt in returning phone calls. We even went on vacation for 10 days with every confidence that work would proceed smoothly. In the end we have a kitchen that is not only one-of-a-kind but a beauty to behold…and that's to the credit of Euromni Design and Chris Nelson. Maybe the highest recommendation of all is that after 3 months of working and eating under the same roof, we, the Paynes, still remain fast friends with Chris, our contractor. He, therefore, has our highest recommendation.

This letter is a recommendation concerning the work completed by Chris Nelson of Euromni on an addition to our home at East Meadows Drive, the Silver Springs development on the edge of Park City. I contracted with Chris Nelson to complete a 300 square foot addition of two first floor rooms on the north side of our home. Our criteria for the project was that the addition, from both the internal and external perspectives should look like it was part of the original construction of the house. The architecture of our home is such that the addition was a logical extension of the house. Additionally, because of living quarters adjacent to the addition, the work must be completed in an expeditious manner because of the time of the year and the need for the least amount of disruption to the living quarter occupants. Chris truly delivered on this project. We found his level of craftsmanship to be very exceptional, and he paid attention to the details. Additionally, he added value to the project by suggesting interior touches (windows, shelves etc.) and work on the external deck that added to the overall appearance of the addition upon completion. Overall, he brought the work in on time (five weeks start to finish), and within the budget parameters established.

Dear Chris,
I wish to offer a word of praise to you for the excellent job you did for me in remodeling the master bath and installing maple floors in the master bedroom in our Park City condominium. The job you did was very professional and timely to my requirements. We especially admire the work on the bathroom and utility room cabinetry. The maple hardwood floors in the master bedroom and bath are beautiful, I would highly recommend you to anyone needing remodeling.
Again, thank you for the excellent job you did.
Very, truly yours

This is a letter of recommendation for Chris Nelson, a general contractor who remodeled our master bathroom. Chris provided a competitive bid and schematic design, and worked well with our architect in design specifications. He started and completed the project in a timely manner, as promised. Chris guarantees his work. He kept in touch with us and followed up after the installation of the project, which we appreciated. He agreed to work and coordinate his work with our plumber and electrician. Furthermore, he was able to fill in when we discovered that an unrelated subcontractor was working inefficiently on the job. Chris's attention to detail and quality craftsmanship made a pleasing difference in the final product. It is without reservation that we recommend Chris.

I am writing in regard to Mr. Chris Nelson. I have known Chris for about seven years and during that time I have been involved with him in one or two projects per year. I have found both his work and his attitude towards his work to be very professional. It is not often these days that you find a contractor that is able or willing to perform a great deal of the work themselves in the traditions of a craftsman, Chris does this.
Because of this level of hands on involvement I recommend him often for smaller scale projects which demand a high degree of
attention.

Jonathan Degray - Architect

Chris Nelson completed a fairly extensive construction project for me last summer, and I am very comfortable giving him this letter of recommendation. Chris was recommended to me by John Degray, a local architect who has a very good reputation. This was the decisive factor in my selection of Chris. I am extremely pleased with the finished product which involved design, construction and landscaping. In addition to completing the project for a fair price, Chris paid attention to details which provoked one neighbor to remark, "That guy is a real craftsman." Taking steps such as actually visiting the quarry to select rocks rather than just receiving a shipment gave me confidence in him. He has since done additional work for neighbors, and they are equally pleased.

My wife and I had built a barn in lovely Midway, Utah and decided to finish the area upstairs for living space. Chris Nelson, our neighbor, had done some finish work for us in the lower level of our barn (really a garage and shop with a finished bath). We so liked the detail of his finish work (trim and beadboard and stairs), we chose him to complete the finish work which involved sourcing the necessary insulation subcontractor, all the framing, flooring, sheetrock, painting, trim carpentry and, most importantly, coordinating all of this work with all of the other trade subcontractors. He also coordinated with the City Building Department on those issues that always pop up. Chris' motto was always "if it's worth doing, it's worth doing right." He designed metal structural supports for the half walls for our shower to insure their stability when the glass block was installed above them. He educated us on the merits of foam insulation and convinced us it was worth the extra dollars. He doesn't cut corners and takes a lot of pride in his work. Further, having built two homes previously, I know that it is often hard to keep contractors on task to get the job done. That was not a problem with Chris. He worked nights and weekends to ensure our project was completed for our move in, and pushed the other subcontractors to do likewise. He understands he doesn't get paid if he's not working, and that getting a project done is as
important as getting it started. Chris gave us honest bids and stuck to them. When we wanted changes or upgrades, he gave us honest estimates of that work and never once did we feel gouged or overcharged. He keeps his accounting simple and complete. He also lives by his bids. He didn't charge for the little things like running errands or helping to source product. It's all part of his package. I would recommend Chris for your construction project. But don't just engage him for the work; involve him in the design. He has a real passion for "green" design and construction, while making every project look like a top-end Park City home. I'm sure you will be pleased with his work.

Chris Nelson recently did remodeling work for me on my condominium at the Silver King Hotel. I found Chris to be a superlative craftsman, honest and timely in his approach to his work. I would whole heartedly recommend him to anyone seeking assistance in his field.
